Tsavo East National Park is one of Kenya’s largest wildlife sanctuaries and is famous for its vast landscapes and large herds of red-dust elephants.
This full-day safari from Mombasa combines morning and afternoon game viewing with lunch at a safari lodge overlooking a waterhole.
Depart from Mombasa around sunrise and drive approximately 115 kilometres in the direction of Nairobi to enter Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma Gate.
Begin your game drive in search of elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras and many other wildlife species. Stop at Aruba Dam to observe water birds and animals gathering near the water.
Proceed to Voi Safari Lodge for lunch. The lodge overlooks a waterhole and offers excellent opportunities for wildlife and bird photography.
