Kenya Flying Safari, 3 days Masai Mara Keekorok Lodge Safari

Located in the very heart of Kenya’s fabled Masai Mara National Reserve, Keekorok, meaning motley abundance in the local Masai language, was constructed in 1962 on a choice eighty acre site in an area of permanent springs and lush grassland.
Accommodation is on a Full Board basis that includes morning tea or coffee, breakfast, luncheon, afternoon tea and dinner. Luncheon boxes are available by prior request for guests taking all-day game drives.

- Accommodation comprises stone built bungalows with private balconies. All with on suite bathrooms. They are 89 standard rooms, 8 superior rooms, 4 suites. The liberal use of cedar wood, pink and gray Sand River stone, and other indigenous building materials offset the green lawns and colorful bougainvillea.

- Well-trained chefs prepare international and local delicacies.

- A 300 meter raised walkway winds through the forest in front of the lodge to a thatched sundowner bar overlooking the plains of the Masai Mara and a pool with resident hippos.

Day 1 - Nairobi Mara : 0845 hrs - You will be picked from your Hotel and transferred to the Wilson Airport. Flight to Maasai Mara takes off at 1000 hrs. 1045 hrs - Arrival at Maasai Mara airstrip. You are met at the airstrip and transferred to Voyager Mara Lodge. You have an early afternoon free, before proceeding for an afternoon game drive, from 1600 hrs till dusk. Dinner and overnight at the Keekorok Lodge

Day 2. Masai Mara : 0630 hrs - Early morning game drive in 4W drive lodge vehicles. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Morning game drive for those who wish starts at 1000 hrs till midday. Lunch at the Lodge. Early afternoon at leisure. 1600 hrs - Afternoon game drive till dusk. Dinner and overnight at the Keekorok Lodge.

Day 3 : Masai Mara -Nairobi: Early morning game drive - if you still want to go for more - OR take an opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon provided at extra cost (USD 450per person) Champagne Breakfast follows:
0930 hrs. You will be transferred with a game drive en-route to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi departing at 1100 hrs. You arrive at Wilson Airport Nairobi 1215 hrs. Here our driver guide will meet you ready to transfer you to the Hotel.
